Hosts Australia and England currently locked horns in a three-match T20I series, ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022🅷, wh🎀ich bowls out later this month.

During the second T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, Australia superstar David Warner suffered a nasty blow on his head while attempting a𓃲 catch near 𓃲the boundary rope. He was immediately taken off the playing field before medical help arrived. The southpaw was sent to the locker room for concussion tests.

This all happened in the 15th over of England’s innings with Moeen Ali on strike against Mitchell Starc. While the left-arm pacer delivered a full-length ball, the Three Lions all-rounder ꦫlofted it towards the deep point, where Warner was fielding. In an attempt to catch the ball, wh๊ich was way over his head, Warner lost balance and went down hard on the turf.

“David Warner is off the ground and being checked out after landing heavily attempting this catch,” the official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia tweeted after Warner’s injury.

During the third T20I, the commentators shared an update with the fans regarding Warner’s fitness. It was reported that Warner has passed the concussion and fitness tests and will join the Australia squad ahead of their warm-up fixture against India at the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, England have sealed the T20I series against Australia with successive wins in the first and second game. The third and final encou💯nter between the two sides was called off due to rain.
