Batting first, half-centuries from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav propelled India to a formidable total. Kohli (62 not out) and Yadav (51 not out) partnered for an unbeaten 95🧸-run partnership to guide Indiꦏa to an imposing 179/2 in their allotted 20 overs.

In response, the Dutch side fell 56 runs short of the target and lost their second consecutive match in the Super 12 stage. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a sensational spౠell, pick♓ing a couple of wickets and conceded only 9 runs in 3 overs, including 2 maidens.
Apart from Bhuvi, Arshdeep Singh (2/37), Axar Patel (2/18), and Ravichandran Ashwin (2/21) all bagged two wickets apiece. For the Netherlands, Tim Pringle, with 20 off 15, was their top-scorer in the matc♕h.
