South Africa pacer Kagiso Rabada showcased his command over the Hindi language and showed how not to impress your desi girlfriend’s parents in a funny video going viral on the internet.

The Proteas seamer has represented two north Indian franchises in the IPL so far. He made his debut for Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2017 and then moved to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the last editio🐠n. Rabada learned Hindi during his time with the Indian players in both franchises🅘.

Rabada, who is a prime member of the South African cricket team in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, recently featured in a video alongside popular Indian Radio Jockey (RJ) Karishma Singh.

The video shows Karishma giving Rabada a few lines for the mother-in-law a꧟nܫd then for the father-in-law.

Rabada begins with ‘Namaste’ in Hindi, followed by, “East or west, my saas is best (East or west my mother-in-law is best).” The speedster then says: “Mai aapke parivar ko paake dhaniya ho gya hu (I’m blessed to be part of your family),” however, instead of ‘Dhanya’ he said ‘Dhaniya’.

The funniest part of the video comes when Rabada utters “Namaste Suar Ji'” which means a pig, instead of ‘Namaste Sasur Ji (father-in-Law)’.

Karishma soon corrects him and the fast bowler asks to forgive him but makes a mistake in the apology as well. “Sorry main chumma chahta hu (Sorry I’d like to apologise),” chumma [kiss] instead of saying ‘kshama’ [sorry].
