Cricket South Africa (CSA), on Wednesday, announced the replacement of Dwaine Pretorius for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, scheduled to start on October 16 in Australia. Notably, Pretorius was rul🦋ed out of the 🗹global showpiece event after he had fractured his left thumb in the third T20I against India.

Left-arm pacer Marco Jansen has now been called up to replace injured Pretorius in South Africa’s 15-member squad for T20 World Cup. In place of Jansen, who was initially part of the travelling reserves, fast bowler Lizaad Williams has been i🎐ncluded. Jansen had recently replaced Pretorius for the ODI series against India where they lost to hosts 2-1.
