Shahbaz Ahmed, the 27-year-old batting all-rounder, has received his maiden call-up in Team India, replacing Washington Sundar for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe.
Sundar was ruled out of th𝄹e upcoming Zimbabwe tour after injuring his shoulder while playing a Royal London Cup game for Lancashire in En✅gland.
Th♐e left-haಞnded all-rounder Shahbaz has been a regular member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the last two editions. He has also played 26 List A matches, scoring 662 runs at an average of 47.28 and bagging 24 wickets at an economy rate of 4.43.
India꧅ and Zimbabwe are scheduled to play three ODIs starting🔯 in Harare on Thursday (August 18).
The tourists will enter the series after a thumping victory over West Indies in both the T20I and ODI formats in late July and earlie♓r this month.
