After registering a clean sweep in the ODI series against West Indies, India were back under the leadership of Rohit Sharma🌳 to take on the Men in Maroon in the first of five T20Is in Trinidad on Friday.
The visitors carried the winning momentum in the T20I leg by beating West Indies the opening game to take a 1-0 lead. Captain Rohit and wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik shined with the bat, smashing 64 and🐭 41, respectively, to help India post 190/6 on the board in 20 overs.

After posting 190/6 on the board, India restricted West Indies to 122/8 in their allotted 20 overs, winning the contest by 68 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin (2/22), Ravi Bishnoi (2/26) and Arshdeep Singh (2/24) all bagged a couple of wickets each.
