Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel’s impressive bowling performances helped India thrash South Africa by 48 runs in the third T20I at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy stadium in Visakhapa♓tnam on Tuesday. With this win, India also stay alive in the fi🦩ve-match series.
Put in to bat first, Indian openers – Ruturaj Gaikwad (57 off 35) and Ishan Kishan (54 off 35) guided their side to 179/5 in 20 overs. Apart from Gaikwad and Kishan, Hardik Pandya (31 not out off 21) gave India final flourish in their must-win game.
In reply, four South African batters — Reeza Hendricks (23), Dwaine Pretorius (20), Heinrich Klaasen (29) and Wayne Parnell (22 not out) got starts but they couldn’t convert them to a big total.
