In the 68th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Rajasthanꦅ 🍸Royals (RR) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by five wickets at Brabourne Stadium ඣin Mumbai on Friday. With the victory, the Royals reached second place in the points table.
Chasing a paltry target of 151, the contest went down to the wire, where RR eventually managed to sea🐭l the win with two balls to spare and five wickets in hand.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ravichandran Ashwin were the chief architecꦡts behind the successful chase. While Yashasvi scored a 🌃brilliant 59 off 44 deliveries, Ashwin remained unbeaten at 40 to take the Royals home.
Earlier, Moeen Ali guided Chenn𝓡ai to a respectable total as the rest of the batters failed to make a mark. The left-handed batter smacked a brilliant knock of 93 runs from 57 deliveries with the help of 16 bo🐼undaries, including three sixes.
For the Royals, Obed McCoy and Yuzvendra Chahal were the pick𒁃 of the bowlers. McCoy bagged a two-wicke🙈t haul for 20 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Similarly, Chahal also took two scalps while conceding 26 runs in 4 overs.
