Team India defeated Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I to compl𝓰ete the clean sweep over the Islanders at HP🐲CA stadium in Dharmsala on Sunday.

Chasing 147, Shreyas Iyer continued from where he left in the previous match, playing another match-winnꦅing knock to take India home. The right-handed batter stayed unbeaten on 73 off 45 deliveries, with the help of 10 boundaries, including a six.

All-rounder duo of Deepak Hooda (21) and Ravindra Jadeja (21 not out) chipped in with some valuable contributions to help hosts register a whitewash over Sri Lanka in the thre🥀e-mไatch T20I series.

Earlier, India restricted the tourists for 146/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Avesh Khan was the pick of the bowler for the home team, taking a couple of wickets for 23 runs in his quota of 4 overs, including a maiden. Harshal Patel (1/29), Mohammed Siraj (1/22) and Ravi Bishnoi (1/32) bagged one wicket apiece.

For the visitors, captain Dasun Shanaka was the lone war🌊rior, with the rest of the batters failing to stay in the middle for too long. Shanaka played a brilliant unbeaten knock of 74 runs off just 38 balls, including nine fou꧃rs and a couple of six.
