Fast bowler Prasidh Krishna put on a brilliant display with the ball as India defeated West Indies in the second ODI to take an unassa💃ilable 2-0 lead in the th🦂ree-match series.
Defending ♒a modest t🐻otal of 238, India bundled out West Indies on 193 and won the game by 44 runs.
While Krishna recorded his best figures in ODI cricket – 4/12, Shardul Thakur bagged two wickets.
Deepak Hooda also took his maiden internatio🌌nal wicket as the Indian bowlers dominated the proceedings on the sluggish 🔯surface of the Narendra Modi Stadium.
Earlier, after being put on to bat, India recovered well from their top-order failure to post a competitive 237/9 in 50 overs. Suryakumar Kumar top-scored with 64 (83) while vice-captain KL Rahul made 49 off 48 balls.
The Rohit Sharma-led India will now𒆙 look to register a clean sweep over the Windies with a win in the third and ♈last ODI, scheduled to be played at the same venue on Friday.

It might not be your day, but still it's vital to not lose hope and still find a way. That's exactly what team India did today. They found a way to win even on an off day. Well played and congratulations 👏🏼👏🏼

In the end, margin of win is big but after first innings it didn’t look that result will be as easy. Well played India and congratulations to Rohit for a winn♏ing start!

Prasidh Krishna has been terrific with his line & length. Tall bowler who gets extra bounce. Won't be a bad idea to give him the Test cap. Can be a good option in all conditions

This is India's 11th successive ODI bilateral series win over the West Indies since Jan 2007.
