The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced the complete schedule for the 2022 edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup, all set to be played in Australia.
The multi-team tournament will run from October 16 to November 13, with seven cities to host matches across th💝e Kangaroo land. Twelve out of 16 teams are already confirmed, with the final four to be determined through the qualifying matcᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚhes.
Australia, England, New Zealand ♚and Afghanistan have been placed together in Group 1, with India, Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh heading into Group 2.
The last year’s runner-up, New Zealand, will kick off the Super 12s with a clash against the defending champions Australia on October 22, while India and their arch-rivals Pakistan will meet on October 23 – the second day of the Super 12 stage.
