Batting first, Canterbury Kings couldn’t get going and were restricted to 107 runs in 17.2 overs. Boult bowled brilliantly, bagging two wickets for 21 runs in three overs.
Off-spinner Joe Walker was the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 31.
In reply, Northern Brave batters also struggled for runs as they were rocked by superb bowling spells from Ed Nuttall and Blake Coburn.
Nuttall ha𓆏d a mixed outing. While defending eight runs in the final over, he grabbed three wickets and gave away only two runs in the first five balls. But, Boult spoiled his party with a match-winning six on the last ball of the match.
