The much-awaited West Indies tour of Pakistan is set to begin on Monday (December 13) with the three-match T20I series. After battling out in the shortest format, both nations will face each other in the three-mat🔯ch ODI leg, starting December 18.
Pakistan will be high on confidence after their impressive journey in the T20I World Cup 2021, followed by their dominant tour of Bangladesh, where they steamrolled the hosts by 3-0.
On the other hand, the Windies, who ﷺwere eliminated in the first round of the multi-t🦩eam tournament, would be looking to start the tour positively.
Notably, the tourists will be without the services of veteran Kieron Pollard, who has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Further, Sheldon Cottrell, Roston Chase and Kyle Mayers will also miss out after testing COVID-19 positive ahe🌠ad of the T20I series opener.
