The highly-anticipated mega auction of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is expected to ꦐtake place by the end of December or January first week. Ahead of the big auctions, all eight IPL franchises have revealed the list of their retained players on Tuesday, November 30.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) started the proceedings by announcing they have retained three players in the form of former captain Virat Kohli, power-striker Glenn Maxwell, and pacer Mohammed Siraj. Kohli has been retained at INR 15 crore, Maxwell for INR 11 crore and Siraj for INR 7 crore. RCB have now IN♍R 57 crore left at the auction.

Mumbai Indians
The five-time champions Mumbai Indians have gone with captain Rohit Sharma, frontline pacer Jasprit Bumrah, middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav, and all-rounder Kieron Pollard. Interestingly, neither Hardik Pandya nor Ishan Kishan have been retained. When it comes to the prize bracket, Rohit has been retained at INR 16 crore, Bumrah for INR 12 crore, Suryakumar for INR 8 crore, and Pollard for INR 6 crore. MI have retained all 4 players, and they have INR🎐 48 crore left at auction.

Punjab Kings have decided to go with opener Mayank Agarwal and pacer Arshdeep Singh. As reported earlier, the Mohali-based franchise has not retained captain KL Rahul. Mayank will get INR 12 crore, while A🏅rshd🌳eep will get INR 4 crore. PBKS have INR 72 crore left in the bank.

Chennai Super Kings have gone with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, captain MS Dhoni, another all-rounder Moeen Ali and opener Ruturaj Gaikwad ahead of the mega auctions. Jadeja has been retained for INR 16 crore, Dhoni fo𝓡r 12 crore, Moeen for IN𒐪R 8 crore and Gaikwad for INR 6 crore. The Super Kings have INR 48 crore left at auction.

Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals have gone with captain Rishabh Pant, opening batter Prithvi Shaw, pacer Anrich Nortje and all-rounder Axar Patel. Some big names that missed out are Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shreyas Iyer and Kagiso Rabada.
