The Indian Premier🏅 League (IPL) 2021 auction took place in Chennai on Thursday, February 18. Associates of all eight IPL franchises came together to bid for the players to fill up the🌠 vacant slots in their team rosters.

As many as 57 players were 🐬bought in the mini-event, and a total of INR 145.3 crore was spent.

Twenty-two foreign players were sold, and it was South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris who became the m🎃ost expensive buy in the IPL history as Rajashthan Royals roped him after a stiff battle with Punjab Kings.

Australia’s young pacer Riley Meredith also set the new record for the most expensive uncapped foreign player when he was bought by Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta for INR 8 crore.

On ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚthe other hand, uncapped India all-rounder Krish൲nappa Gowtham was picked up at INR 9.2 crore by Chennai Super Kings.

Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar was the last p♌layer to be picked at the auction a💖s Mꦫumbai Indians bought him at his base price of INR 20 lakh.
