Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was extensively popular for his electrifying pace and spectacular capacity to bowl constantly above 150 kmph. Akhtar had enjoyed a long history of frightening ba𓆉tsmen across all the teams. Even after bidding adieu from international crick🌞et, Akhtar continued his aggressive attitude, which reflects in his opinions on various topics of the captivating game.

Carrying the same boldness, Akh♐tar has once again dropped his views on a controversial incident which took place between him and former Indian opener Virender Sehwag. Akhtar has 🌊denied the claim made by Sehwag that he was sledged by the Indian batsman during a Test match.

Sehwag gave it back to Akhtar saying “baap baap hota ha, beta beta hota hai ” during a game when the Pakistani was sledging the Indian opener to play a hook shot off his bowling. Sehwag revealed that he was batting close to 200 with Sachin Tendulkar when Akhtar started sledging him, but he asked the pacer to bowl a bouncer to Sachin instead.

“Woh tera baap khada hai wo non-striking end pe, uss ko bol woh mar ke dikhayega. Non-striker end pe Tendulkar tha. Next over mai jab usne Tendulkar ko bouncer mara toh usne chakka mara, maine kaha beta beta hota hai aur baap baap hota hai,” Sehwag told Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan during an award show.

However, Akhtar has now dismissed Sehwag’s claim stating that such an incident never took place.
Akhtar was asked about the heated argument by a Pakistani journalist to which he replied: “Would he survive after saying something like that to me? Would I leave him? I would beat him up at the ground and then at the hotel.”

Both Sehwag and Akhtar enjoyed some memorable battles on the cricket field inꦺ their sparkling career. While Sehwag accumulated over 17,000 runs in 104 Tests, 251 ODIs and 19 T20Iౠs, Akhtar claimed 444 wickets in 46 Tests, 163 ODIs and 15 T20Is.
