The cricketing action has resumed when England invited West Indies on their soil for the first Test series post coronavirus pandemic. After the completion of the red-ball matches, England began their three-match One-Day International (ODI) series with Ireland with only one game left to be played. Now the hosts are again focusing on the longest format as they will be taking the challenge of Pakistan in the three-mat🎉ch Test series starting from August 05.

Meanwhile, Indian cricket fans are still in the waiting zone as the rising case🅰s of COVID-19 in the country is restricting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to organize any bilateral tournament. However, Indian cricketers have utilized the quarantine period by involving in chat sessions on various social media platforms to interact with their fans.

Following the bandwagon, Indian opener Rohit Sharma ran a Question & Answer (Q&A) session with his fans on Twitter on the occasion of Friendship Day (August 2). The ‘Hitman’ answered several questions thrown at him.

During the chat, the 33-year-old was asked to reveal one bowler he would like to face from the past. “If you’ve to pick one Bowler from the past, whom you would like to face. Who’ll be that one Bowler?” asked a fan

Rohit responded to the question and picked👍 Australian g𒆙reat Glenn McGrath.

McGrath has been considered as one of the most sk🃏ilful bowlers of all time. His consistency and ability to bowl at the right areas troubled batsmen of all the teams. The right-arm paceman finished his glorious c๊areer with 563 Test wickets and 381 ODI scalps.

McGrath was the key member in the ‘golden’ days of Australian cricket. He was a part of the Aussie side which lifted three World Cups. In the 2003 and 2007 World Cups tournaments, McGrath picked 21 wickets (second-highest) and 26 wickets (most by any bowler), respectively.

Rohit, on the other hand, is highly appreciated for his ‘daddy’ hundreds. He holds the record of the highest individual score in ODI cricket – 264 vs Sri Lanka.

The Nagpur-born is the seventh-highest run-getter (9115) for India in ODIs. While in the shortest format, Rohit is just behind his teamm🍌ate Virat Kohli as the leading run-scorers in T20Is with 2773 runs.
