Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, Virat Kohli, is the all-time leading r💯un-scorer in the Indi💙an Premier League (IPL).
However, Kohli has been unfortunate not to be 🌊able to clinch the IPL title even once, despite ﷺtaking part in all twelve seasons, donning the RCB jersey.
With the announcement of the 13th season of the IPL in th🥂e UAE, starting September 19, RCB will be looking forward to rectifying their record.
Unlike the previous seasons, this time around, Kohli will be able to fiel൩d a balanced RCB attack.
Previously, the Bengalu🌸ru-based franchise backed a batting-heavy batting lineup, often overlookin꧋g their shortcomings in the bowling department.
Now, former Australian speedster, Brett Lee, has dispensed a piece of golden advice for Kohli, to help RCB win their maiden I🥀PL title.
“I just want Kohli to go out there and enjoy his cricket, take all the pressure off himself as a captain and player,” Le🎃e said in th🦹e latest episode of Star Sports’ Cricket Connected chat show.
Their star-studded lineup will be bolstered by the presence of Aaron Finc♈h and Ch💙ris Morris this season.
“Because he is so good at that level, I th♕ink sometimes with all the pressure going around in the team, people are failing, he tries to get all the players on his back and tries to carry them. All the RCB squad should help out in🗹 taking all the pressure off Kohli,” Lee added.
Cricketer-turned-commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar, reckoned that the presence of Finch in th﷽e RCB camp would assist Kohli while leading the RඣCB side.
“Aaron Finch is the guy whom I hope can give them a little bit of steadiness. They have a lot of class, flash and brilliance and then Aaron Finch can become t♍he guy who can hold it all together,” Manjrekar opined.
