“Thanks. Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout. From 1929 hrs consider me as Retired,” MSD captioned the post.
Dhoni finished his career as Indian cricket’s most successful captain in the limited-overs format as under his leadership India won three ICC trophies – 2007 T20 World Cup, 50-over World Cup in 2011 and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.
The 39-year-old last🐠 played an international match in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. It was a semi-fin🌠al clash against New Zealand which India lost by a narrow margin.
Dhoni featured in 350 ODIs, in which he accumulated 10773 runs at a phenomenal averag♋e of 50🌠.57. He smashed ten centuries and 73 fifties in the 50-overs format.
Mahi is also fifth in the list of India’s all-time run-scorers in ODIs. He is just behind Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid.
The veteran stumpeℱr featured in 98 T20Is and amassed 1617 runs at an average of 37.60, including two half-centuries. He also played 90 Tests for Team India and scored 4876 runs with six centuries and 33 fifties.
Dhoni, however, would continue to entertain his fans in the In🎀dian Premier L🍷eague (IPL), where he will lead the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the record time.
