For several years, Indian cricket has received a massive following and🃏 adulations from its neighbours, Bangladesh. 💦Many players have also represented top-notch franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bangladesh’s talismanic all-rounder Shakib-al-Hasan had bee🐼n an integral part of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) before making a move to Su♐nrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Also, Mustaf🍷izur Rahman turned out to be a revelation in the IPL, donning the colors of🐭 SRH. He was later bagged by IPL giants Mumbai Indians (MI).
Other stars from Bangladesh who participated in the🐻 cash-rich league were Mohammad Ashraful, Abdur Razzak, Mehedi Hasan and Tamim Iqbal.
The Bangladesh women’s cricket team has had their own journey in international cricket. S🍎peedster Jahanara Alam has been equally responsible for thওe Tigresses’ rise at the highest level.
Now, Alam has revealed her favourite out of the e🃏ight teams which participate in the lucrative tournament annually.
“KKR is my favourite IPL team. When Shakib Al Hasan bhai played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, I supported SRH as well. This time, there’s no Bangladesh cricketer in the IPL. I will support KKR itself. I can’t explain why I love KKR so mu🎉ch, but ever since the IPL started, I supported th💃em,” Jahanara told Anandabazar.
Then, the pacer expressed her desire to play at t💧he iconic Eden Garden, in Kolkata. Alam has picked 88 wi🐼ckets in 108 international matches. She was also part of the IPL Women’s T20 Challenge last year.
“I haven’t had the privilege of playing at t🐈he Eden Gardens. Hopefully, one day I can play there and at the Lord’s. Most legends of the game have played at the venue🌞s and even I want to play there,” she added.
During the interview, the gorgeous cricketer also claimed about ✨receiving movi🐈e offers. However, Alam ended up declining the offers for her love for cricket.
“I also had acting offers for t🐲wo movies, but I declined them. I don’t wish to focus on anything else otherwise, I might get diverted and that is something I can’t🗹 let happen,” Alam concluded.
