A wife is keeping wicket while her husband is bowling from the other end; this sounds like a fictional episode that can’t occur in reality. However, this happened in real life, during a semifinal match between PSV Hann Munden and KSV Cricket in the Kummerfeld leg of European Cricket Series.
Sharanya Sadarangani already smashed the gender stereotype and created a☂ history by becoming the first woman to𒁃 play in the tournament. Now, she has done something that one has to watch to believe it.
At one instance in the match, she kept wicket while her spouse Finn Sadarangani bowled. Finn, an off-spinner c𒉰onceded 16 runs. Sharanya looked con✨fident with gloves, collecting all three balls missed by the batsman.
With two catch🎀es and running-out the last batsman, the wicket-keeper finished the match on a high note. She has played all six🧸 games for the team.
