Sri L♍ankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan found success in the Indian Premier League (IPL) during his stint at Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the now-defunct Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
Later, he used his expertise in the IPL successfully after taking up a mentorship role in Sunris🐽ers Hyderabad (SRH).
The legendary spinner teamed up brilliantly with mentor VVS Laxman and head coach Tom Moody, helping SRH lift the ti♚tle in IPL 2016. Captain David Warner had an exceptional season himself with the bat, ending up with 858 runs in the season.
Murali was also instrumental in discovering the T20 prowesses of Rashid Khan and Mustafizur Rahman, who were relatively lꦜow-profile during the pre❀ceding IPL auctions.
Now, Warner has shared a never-seen-before video of Murali dancing along with Vijay Shankar. Meanwh꧂ile, Ashis🌺h Nehra was seen clapping in the backdrop.
“Name these two dancers???? #throwback @sunrisershyd,” Warner’s recent Instagram post read.
Former SRH batsman Yuvraj Singh took his opportunity to take a subtle dig at ex-teammate Nehra. “Would love to see Ashu dance,” Yuvraj commented on Warner’s post.
Presumably, the clip was taken during SRH’s triumphant campaign in the 2016 edition of IPL. Even the Twitter handle of SRH was quick to quiz about the time-frame of the event.
Here’s the post:
During the lockdown season, Warner has kept fans and followers on s🧜ocial media glued with his hilarious dance videos with remove family.
Also, Warner’s dancing skills created a substantial amount of buzz in the Tollywood and Bollywood industry.
Warner was slated to lead his beloved Sunrisers’ army for the thirteenth season of the IPL. However, the tournament was suspended indefinitely due to the onset of COVID-19 pandemic in India.
