Out of favour Indian international Suresh Raina, in his bid to shrug off the rust due to prolonꦰged COVID-19 hiatus, has hit the nets, yet again.
Raina was joined by former Indian teammate Rishabh Pant at Ghaziabad by taking all precautions in the area which has already🍌 recorded as many as 3000 coronavirus cases.
The elegant southpaw hit🐲 some lovely flicks through the leg side and a few trademark off-side strokes. Both Raina and Pant looked at their very best in the 8-minute long vi🍒deo shared by the former on Instagram.
‘Work hard, Neve🎃r Give Up & Get r🐼ewarded,’ captioned Raina’s post.
Now, a significant contingent of the Indian cricket team꧋ has resumed their training amidst growing cases of COVID-19 cases in India.
The likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav also resum🏅ed their training lately.
It was only a few days back when Raina shared a snippet of him striking a few of the middle. “I hope everyone is having a good weekend! This week was all about being on the field. Aim High, Stay Focused & Keep Going! – It’s all a part of it,” captioned his post.
Both Raina and Pant were scheduled to take part in the 2020 edition of the Indi💮an Premier League (IPL)🌺 for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC), respectively.
During one of the IPL seasons😼, Pant🌳 and Raina shared a heart-warming moment on the field in a match between Delhi Daredevils, now DC, and Gujarat Lions.
All hell broke loose for Pant during his ♏maverick knock of 97 off just 43 balls in the 2017 edition of IPL. However, the explosive left-hander was unfortunate to miss out on a brilliant ton. Raina came up to console an upset Pant and congratulated him for his knock.
The last time Raina put on the Indian 💎jersey was back in 2018 during the England tour. Since then, Raina has found it challenging to break into the Indian side.
