An explosive spell from fast bowler Stuart Broad on the evening of Day 4 has kept alive England’s hopes of winning the second Test against West Indies at Old Trafford in Manchester.
Broad, who was surprisingly left out of the first Test at Ageas Oval, picked three wickets in just 14 de🐲liveries with the second new ball to inspire the home side after West Indies looke🅰d to be batting towards a position of safety.

Opener Kraigg Brathwaite made 75 and Shamarh Brooks too completed his half🐎-century, but when the latter was trapped lbw by Broa𒐪d for 68 West Indies slid from 242-4 to 260-8.
All-rounder Roston Chase (51) helped the visitors in crossing the follow-on mark, only for Chris Woakes to remove him and Shannon Gabr꧒iel in the same over to bowl West Indies out for 287 in their first innings.
Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler opened the batting f🎶or England in their second innings. However, in a chaotic 40 minutes of play, Buttler f♔ell for a duck, and Zak Crawley got out on 10 to leave England at 37-2, leading by 219.
