An explosive spell from fast bowler Stuart Broad on the evening of Day 4 has kept alive England’s hopes of winning the second Test against West Indies at Old Trafford in Manchester.
Broad, who was su✃rprisingly left out of the first Test at Ageas Oval, picked three wicket🐽s in just 14 deliveries with the second new ball to inspire the home side after West Indies looked to be batting towards a position of safety.

Opener Kraigg Brathwaite made 75 and Shamarh Brooks too completed his halဣf-century, but when the latter was trapped lbw by Br🌸oad for 68 West Indies slid from 242-4 to 260-8.
All-rounder Roston Chase (51) helped the visitors in crossing the follow-on mark, only for Chris Woakes to remove him and Shannon Gabriel in the same over to bowl West Indies out for 287💮 in their first innings.
Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler opened the batting for England in their second innings. However, in a chaotic 40 minutes of play, Buttler fell for 🍷a duck, and Zak Crawley got out on 10 to leave England at 37-2, leading by 219.
