England opening batsman Dom Sibley became the first cricketer to score a century in Test cricket since the COVID-19 impact which stopped all the cricketin🌊꧑g action. On Day 2 of the second Test, Sibley began the proceedings with an overnight score of 59 runs along with Ben Stokes (59).

Also, Sibley scored just four boundaries during 🔥his century. The last English batsman to make a ton with fewer boundaries was Graham Thorpe who did it against Pakistan back in 2000 with just one four.

Sibley played proper old-school cricket. It was indeed an innings which was 🙈full of concentration and determination. As soon as Sibley raised his bat in joy, the entire England team was seen on the balcony to applaud a special knock. Stokes too came over to congratulate him.
