England’s frontline paceman Stuart Broad has built his image as one of the finest bowlers of modern-day cricket. From on🎃ce being hit for six sixes in an over to become thꦐe second-highest wicket-taker for England, the journey of Broad is absolutely remarkable.

The 33-year-old has so far bagged 485 wickets in his red-ball career which is seventh-most by an🌃y bowler in the history of Test cricket. And among seamers, Broad is the fourth bowler to pick that many scalps.

Recently, Broad answered the questions of fans on DailyMail – a British daily middle-mar𒈔ket ne🐟wspaper. A fan quizzed Broad about his favourite cricket grounds, both domestic and overseas.

The Nottingham-born responded to the 𒅌question and picked Trent Bridge as his favourite domestic ground.

“Trent Bridge is home. I love the place, the people, the feeling it creates,” said Broad.

The English cricketer then named South Africa’s Cape Town as his most loved overseas cricket ground.

“Cape Town has now sneaked up to my number one away from home. Memories built there this winter, with that fantastic Test match win, set against a backdrop of such incredible scenery make it extra special,” added Broad.

The Nottinghamshi🔯re cricketer was further asked to pick his favourite slip fielder, and the❀ best catch, ever taken off his bowling.

Broad revealed the name of former English spinner Graeme Swann and termed him as a natura🤪l catcher in the slip cordon. He said because Swanﷺn was so relaxed in the out-filed, perhaps that helped him to become a trustworthy slip catcher.

“Graeme Swann is the best natural catcher I’ve played with. He was brilliant at second slip. Not overly sure what made him so good, maybe just because he stayed so relaxed and never got tense when the nick came,” the right-armer added further.

When it comes to picking the best catch off his bowling, Broad named a catch taken by his team-mate and arguably the best all-rounder in modern-day cricket, Ben Stokes. Broad referred to a catch Stokes grabbed during the Ashes in 2015. He further added that Stokes’ catch in the 2019 World Cup game against South Africa is also his favourite.

“The best catch? Easy: Ben Stokes at Trent Bridge during the 2015 Ashes. He is a cricketer who takes incredible catches regularly. Think back to a year ago yesterday and that one he took against South Africa in the World Cup,” concluded Broad.
