In recent weeks, the West𝐆ern part of Kolkata, Behala has seen a sp🐽ike in the number of COVID-19 cases.
Now, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s eld☂er brother Snehashish Ganguly was tes🍒ted for COVID-19, the state health department confirmed on Friday.

Even their domestic help in Snehashish’s Mominpur home where he was residing recently was also diagnos🤡ed as positive.
The entire household members are currently undergoing treat💟ment at a private nursing home and are deemed as stableꦑd. However, the former Ranji cricketer has been found negative and was advised home isolation.
“All the four complained of some health issues, which were similar to the symptoms of Covid-19 when they were staying at another residence and not at Ganguly’s ancestral h🐼ouse in Behala. After testing positive꧋, all the four were shifted to a private nursing home,” a senior official was quoted by Indian Express.
Further rounds of testing will be conducted on Saturday, and impendi𒐪ng decisions on their line of treatment will be discussed henceforth.
“Whether they will be discharged or not, depends on the result of the tes🌌ts,” the medical personnel added.
