🌠The camaraderie between the players in the Indian team is quite evident whenever they step on to the cric♔ket field.
However, with the crickeꦑting world in a lull due to the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, the action has now moved indoors with extensive social media engagement amongst cricketerꦺs.
The cricketers organize Q&A sessions, share hilarious anecdotes, taking the v🌱iewers back into the past to bask their glories as well as sorrows.
Bu🐈t more evidently, the cricketers engage in light banters with each💫 other through their comments on social media.
India’s Test vice-captain, Ajinkya Rahane, recently uploaded a throwback picture with opener Rohit Sharma and 🍌asked for an apt caption from his followers.
‘Fill these, and I’ll share the best one in my story’ Rahane wrote.
To which, India’s white-ball cricket opener, Shikhar Dhawan, came up with a hilarious caption as he commented, “Rohit- eh bidu muuh mein kya bhara hua . Ajinkya- masala.”
Rohit, Dhawan, and Rahane at one point in time competed for two slots in white-ball cricket. Rahane’s preferred position to bat was down at number four but he remained in Indian team’s plan as a third opener.
Soon, he went out of favour in coloured clothing with preference gꦫiven to other batsmen. However, Rahane remains a pillar of batting in red-ball cricket.
Dhawan and Rahane were slated to share the dressing room at Delhi Capitals’ (DC), for the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). But, the tournament will now be rescheduled to the onset of COVID-19 pandemic in India.
