Team Indiaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane turned 32 on Saturday and warm birthday wishes poured in for him not only from the cricket fraternity but also from his wife, Radhika Dhopavkar.

While growing up, Ajinkya and Radhika shared theꦗ same neighbourhood. The two were complete opposite temperament, yet they became friends. However, Ajinkya being a modest person, their dating days were not that mushy. They would meet and spend time like friends.

As the two were unofficially dating, their parents got the news of the same and decided to take the matter in their hands who then asked the couple if they want to be together for life, to which they both agreed. Ajinkya and Radhika’s parents then arranged their wedding and the couple finally got hitched together on November 26, 2014.

In October last year, Ajinkya and his wife were blessed with a baby girl ‘Aarya’.

Teammates wish Ajinkya Rahane on birthday

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli wrote a superb message for the middle-order batsman which read: “Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Jinx and a great year ahead. @ajinkyarahane88”.

Rohit Sharma, India’s limited-overs vice-captain, also wished the Test match specialist on his special day. “Happy birthday @ajinkyarahane88 have a great day with your family,” Rohit tweeted, alongside sharing a picture with Rahane.

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar also wished Rahane on his birthday and hoped that his daug🗹hter is keeping him and his wife on their toes during th🔯e lockdown.

Team India head coach Ravi Shastri and former all-rounder Yuvraj were among others who made Rahane’s birthday special with their lovely messages.
