Since the 2007 Guwahati ODI betwee﷽n India and Pakistan, there has been no love lost between Gautam Gambhir and Shahid Afridi.
Gambhir repeatedly has taken jibes at Afridi for his opinions through his tweets. It was only some fortnight back when Gambhir called Afridi ‘a joker’ after the latter registered his views on bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan.
The viral video of Afridi’s inflammatory speech in Kashmir (PoK) caused Gambhir to flare up with another scathing remark on the former Pakistan international.

During his controversial speech, Afridi targe💙ted Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and the Indian army for their so-called atrocities𒐪 on the people of Kashmir.
Further, Afridi called Modi ‘a coward’ for his political ideologies based on religion and tagged it as a greater danger than the ongoing Coronavirus scare.
Afridi and Gamb♉hi🔯r have been at loggerheads with each other even before the 2019 World Cup where the latter suggested about India forfeiting points against Pakistan.
“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He behaves like he’s a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond,” Afridi even penned down in his autobiography.
To which Gambhir replied by saying, “You are a hilarious man!!! Anyway, we are still granting visas to Pakistanis for medical tourism. I will personally take you to a psychiatrist.”
