Indian captain Virat Kohli orchestrated several Indian wins with his chasing abilities. He played ♏a crucial role during the 2011 World Cup final match against Sri Lanka, whe꧂re India lifted the coveted title after 28 years.

During a show, Kohli was asked to pick his second favourite match after the special Indian win of🅺 2011. There he went ahead and picked the quarter-final win over Australia in the 2016 T20 World Cup.

In the all-important fixture at Mohali, Kohli single-handedly took India across 💫the finishing line with his superb knock of 82 which camಞe off just 51 deliveries.

India chased down 161 on the back of the ‘Chasemaster’ who 🐲🍌struck nine fours, four of them coming in a single over off Nathan Coulter-Nile.

“Apart from the 2011 finals, my other favourite match from the atmosphere and importance of the game point of view would be the 2016 T20 quarter-finals against Australia in Mohali,” said Kohli during Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected’.

India had to finish in a flurry wꦇith over 12 runs per over r🥃equired in the final three overs of their innings.

However, they had MS Dhoni and Virat present in the middle, who made🐷 the run-chase look like a cakꦐe-walk. As a result, India progressed into the semi-finals but faced defeat at the hands of West Indies.

The likes of Alex Hales, Grae꧅me Smith, VVS Laxman and many other legends of the game lauded Kohli for his supreme effort.

Albeit, Kohli’s stellar show with the bat in the tournament wasn’t enough to stop the likes of West Indies batters Lendl Simmon and Andre Russell in the🦹 semi-finals. The two completed what looked like an improbable chase at one point in ti൩me, to break a billion hearts with Indian exit.

In the semi-finals, Kohli backed ꧟his performances against Australia with a fluent knock of 89 which came off ju🐟st 47 deliveries.

Eventually, West Indies clinched their second T20 World Cup title with their win in the summit clash over England. All thanks to Carlos Brathwaite’s four sixes in the final over off Ben Stokes.
