March 31 of 2016 will forever be etched as one of the most heart-breaking days for an ardent Indian cricket, as hostsꦬ India crashed out of the 2016 T20 World Cup.
West Indies defeated India, breaking a billion hearts, after chasing 🤡a steep target at Wankhede Stadium in🥂 Mumbai.
To add salt to the wound, one of the Australian൲ journalists asked Indian capt🐽ain, MS Dhoni, about his retirement plans in the post-match conference.
Living by his Captain Cool reputation💯, Dhoni asked the journalist to sit beside him so that he could shoot a few questions at the reporter. “Le🌠t’s have some fun,” Dhoni said during the press conference.
First up, the Ranchi-born as൩ked whether his fitness is good enough for the international level෴.
Dhoni, during his conversation with the journalist, conceded that he could not ask a specific question due to his national꧂ity.
The former Indian captain intended to ask the hapless reporter whether he has an📖y wicket-keeper batsman i๊n knowledge who can play for the country, had he been an Indian.
In the end, Dhoni asked the jꦅournalists whether he can play until the next World Cup. To which the journalist replied affirmatively. “You’ve answered your question then,” Dhoni stated with a huge grin on his fa꧃ce.
It has been four years since the incident and yet remained one of the golden moments of MSD’s career. Interestingly, there still looms a question mark regarding his retire⛄ment from the inte💃rnational stage.
