Former batting maestro Sunil Gavaskar and India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara elongate the list of notable cricketers contributing towards the relief of 🍸COVID-19 pandemic.
The deadly contagion has consumed almost 75,000 lives and reached a tally of 1.3 million, in terms of infect🍰ed cases.
In India, despite a n🃏ationwide lockdown imposed, the infection has reached almost 5,000 people, involving 137 🍒fatal cases.
As a result, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Kedar Jadhav, and Gautam Gambhir h❀ave donated𒅌 significant amounts to boost the country’s fight towards the pathogen.
Pujara donated an undisclosed amount to PM-CARES Fund, while former Mumbai 📖batsman Amol Majumdar confirmed Gavaskar donating INR 59 lakhs.
“Just heard that SMG has donated 59 lakhs towards covid relief fund. 35 to @PMCaresFu♋nds n 24 lakhs to @CMOMaharashtra. Thumbs up superb gesture Sir,” Mujumdar told earlier.

Pujara also offered encouraging words for the frontline warriors such as the doctors and paramedical staff, whose ꦚefforts have been relentless since the virus hit the shores of the🦹 country.
