The Indian team is blessed to have an aggressive captain like Virat Ko🍬hli, and a calm-calculative mind of Rohit Sharma as vice-captain.
The contrasting personalities of the two make the leadership group formidable. Also🌠, Virat and Rohit have shared some monumental partnership with the ba🅰t.
Together with Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian top three is the best in the world, when it comes 𒀰to limited-overs cricket.
The camaraderie the two shared on the field lately, put to rest all th♕e rumours about the rift in the Indian team, post♏ exit from the World Cup in 2019.
In a recent chat between Yuzvendra 𝔉Chahal and Mohammad Shami, the latter asked to choose between Virat 𝔉and Rohit, enquiring with whom he shares a better bonding.
To which, Shami chose his captain claiming that they bond over jokes and frequently♛ keep in touch over the phon🧸e.
“I don’t interact much with Rohit on calls. Don’t know, but Rohit and I hardly even bond on jokes etc. Though we have debuted in Test together…With Virat, we both talk on all sorts of things (music taste or regarding any joke). We even interact quite often over the phone. Hence, I will go towards Virat in this case. It is not because he is the captain, but we bond in a much better way,” Shami told Chahal during the Instagram Live session.
Both Shami and Rohit m𒉰ade their Test deb💖ut together at Kolkata against West Indies in 2013. The two made the stage their own with impressive performances in their respective department.
Although, credit must be given to captain Kohli, along with head coach Ravi Shastri for overhauling Shami’s career during a difficult time in personal life.
Shami turned out to be a different bowler since the South African tour in 2018, often being Kohli’s go-to bowler whenever in need to break partnerships in recent seasons.
