Cricketers from around the world are participating in chat sessions on various social media platforms due to Coronavirus pandemic followed by the worldwide lockdown. In the process, 2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh and India’s frontline bowler at present, Jasprit Bumrah, faced each other in an Instagram live session.
During the chat, Yuvi trolled Bumrah’s batting after reminding him of his highest scores in international cricket as well as in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the Ahmedabad-born pacer came up with a humorous response by reminding the Chandigarh-born all-rounder of his knock against Goa.
“You have a highest of 10 in ODIs, 10 in Tests and 16 runs in IPL. You have a total of 82 runs in 80 first-class class games,” said Yuvraj.
In reply, Bumrah hit back at one of India’s most elegant middle-order batsman, citing his highest score in the domestic arena.
“I have a highest of 20-ball 42 runs against Goa,” Bumrah responded.
The 26-year-old paceman further reminded Yuvraj of his first-ball six against Australia’s speedster Pat Cummins during an ODI game played in Punjab. It was the fourth game when Bumrah came to face the last ball of India’s innings and smashed a maximum over deep mid-wicket.
In 64 ODIs, Bumrah has scored 19 runs with unbeaten 10 b𝓰eing his highest. However, when it comes 🎶to his original role, the right-armer has taken 104 wickets in 50-over-format.
In red-ball cricket, Bumrah has grabbed 68 wickets in just 14 matches, while in T20Is the Gujar꧋at player has bagged 59 scalps in 50 games.
