Following the outbreak o🌼f Covid-19 after the World Health Organisation declared it a pandemic, various cricket tournaments, and bilateral series have been either cancelled o💫r postponed. And those which are still active are taking place behind closed doors, i.e., in front of empty stands.

Pakistan’s domestic T20 League; Pakistan Super League (PSL) is also facing a similar situation as the games are happening with no crowd at all.

The 29th match of the tournament was held wit⛄h empty stands at Gaddafi Stadium between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, in wh❀ich the former registered a comprehensive 9-wicket victory.

Without any crowd, nothing was exciting in the contest; however, Qalandars’ destructive batsman Chris Lynn found the fun in the situation when he was on the mic while fielding in the first inninꦓgs.

When Multan’s opener Zeeshan Ashraf fell for 2 in the second over, Lynn made a side-splitting comment with respect to the atmosphere of the Gaddafi stadium.

“Another one falls, and the crowd goes wild,” Lynn said while playing in front of an empty stadium.

Here’s the video:

During the game, Lynn took Multan’s bowlers to the cleaners and smashed an unbeaten 113 off 55 balls with the help of 12 fours and 8 sixes. He also became the first-ever Lahore batsman to score a century in the PSL.
