Unfortunate to miss out on his ton, and not to get his team across the finis🔯hing line, Reardon smacked nine boundaries and five maximums in his knock.
The Aussie batsmen yet again displayed their in🌸efficacy against spin in subcontinental conditions. They had no answer to Dilshan, Rangana Herath, and Sachitra Senanayake, who shared six wickets amongst themselves.
Eight of the batsmen glaringly could not get into double-figures. In the end, despite Reardon’s heroics, Sri Lanka legends ended up on the winning side by a narrow 7-run margin.
