Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin showed his humorous side as he took to Instagram on Friday to share a ‘creative’ Curriculum Vitae (CV) , which consisted of a few hilarious entries concerning Ashwin’s profile. It was part of the Break the Beard challenge – a test to shave your beard and upload short videos/photos on social media, using the hashtag #BreakTheBeard.
Ashwin’s CV contained his skills, hobbies, interest but with a funny touch. His nickname read “Log Mujhe pyar se Baller bulate hai,” whereas in the description, he wrote, “Mujhe dekh kar ladies sing, ‘Dekho ja raha hai Chennai ka Super King.”
When it came to hobbies, the veteran spinner wrote “Knocking people out since 2010,” and he also included a hint for the Carrom ball by mentioning “Playing Carrom! Samjhe?.”
Under the interests column, the Chennai-born wrote, “Playing wicket games, spinning hearts and breaking records.”
The right-armer included “Putting the break-in bowling and beards” and “Sending opponents to the pavilion” to his skills.
Ashwin earned three wickets in the first Test match against New Zealand at Basin Reserve, but in the second encounter at Hagley Oval, he was dropped. Left-armer Ravindra Jadeja was included in the Indian team in Ashwin’s place.
