With New Zealand enforcing a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period for those entering the country from Australia after Sunday midnight (March 15), the Black Caps have been🐟 making arrangements to fly back home on Saturday evening.
It means the remaining two Chappell-Hadlee matches, scheduled for Sunday in Sydney and 🐟Hobart on Friday ꦡ(March 20), have been called off.
This month’s three-match T20I series between the Kiwis and the Aussies in New Zealand starting March 24 in Dunedin has also been suspended.
New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and Cr🉐icket Australia (CA) hope the two seriesꦿ can be replayed at a later date.
The update has come in less than 24 hours after both sides played behind closed doors at the SCG on Friday (March 13) due to the coronavirus outbre🐭ak.
Australia won the Chappell-Hadlee Troph🍌y series opener by 71 runs.
The Aussie quicks🌠 w🦹ere great, but Adam Zampa stole the show! 👏
