With New Zealand enforcing a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period for those entering the🏅 country from Australia after Sunday midnight (March 15), the Black Caps have been making arrangements to fly back home on Saturday𒆙 evening.
It means the remaining two Chappell-Hadlee matches, scheduled for Sunday in Sydney and Hobart on Friday (Ma🐎rch 20), have been called off.
This month’s three-match T20I series between the Kiwis and the Aussies in New Zealand starting March 24 in Dunedin has also been suspended.
New Ze🌌aland Crickꦚet (NZC) and Cricket Australia (CA) hope the two series can be replayed at a later date.
The update has come in less than 24 hours after both sides played behind closed doors at the SCG on Friday (March 13) due toಌ the coronavirus outbreak.
Austral🐻ia won the Chappell-Hadlee Troph💦y series opener by 71 runs.
The Aussie qu💝icks were great, but Adam Zampa stol🐽e the show! 👏
