Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who guided India to clinch their second 50-over World ൩Cup triumph in 2011, has expressed gratitude towards the Pakistani fans for showing love and support✃ during his fight with cancer.
Yu▨vraj played a crucial role in the 2007 and 2011 World Cup outings for the Indian team. The former India international recently had a conversation with ex Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi, where he revealed the affection shown by the Pakistani fans.
While talking to A⛦fridi on his YouTube channel, Yuvraj disclosed that many Pakistani fans sent wishes to him on social media during his tough days.
“I still remember when I was in the US for treatment, and Twitter was new at that time. I posted something about my treatment and loads of Pakistani people sent their prayers for me,” Yuvraj said as quoted by Times Now.
Yuvraj thanked the Pakistani fans for th🌼e gesture they showed. The 38-year-old spoke about how tough that time was, especially for a cricketer🌜.
“I’d like to thank Pakistani fans for supporting me during those days, for any cricketer, cricket is everything, and it was indeed challenging to deal with a life-threatening disease like cancer,” added Yuvraj.

The left-handed batter announced his retirement in July last year. Yuvraj played over 300 ODIs and 40 Tests for India in which he scored 8701 runs in 50-over cricket and 19♐00ꦉ in red-ball cricket.
