Punjab speedster Siddharth Kaul claimed a hat-trick against Andhra Pradesh in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2019-20. Kaul sent the la🍷st three batsmen of the Andhra team to the pavilion off successive dꦦeliveries.
It all happened in the 40th over of Andhra’s first innings bowled by Kaul. The right-armer dismantled the stumps of KV Sasikanth, Dasari Swaroop, and S Ashish to accomplish the feat.
Before the tailenders, Kaul had dis🅠missed two top-order batsmen as well. By taking three-off-three, he achieved the five-wicket haul. Punjab team showcased outstanding bowling as they folded Andhra for 97.
Kaul first got Sasikanth out, who was batting at 20. The Pathankot-born bowler bowled a full delivery which nipped back in sharply to break the defense of the bat🔴sman.
On the very next ball, Kaul sent Swaroop back to the hut after the batsman failed to read an inswinger which came in and shattered his stumps. Then came Andhra’s last batsman Ashish who faced a similar delivery, which produced another wicket for Kaul to claim his hat-trick.

It was the third occasion in the current season of Ranji Trophy that a bowler has taken a hat-trick. Not so long ago, Uttar Pradesh’s bowler Ravi Yadav reached the milestone against Madhya Pradesh. Before him, Bengal’s bowler Shahbaz Ahmed shined with a hat-trick against Hyderabad.
