West Indies fast bowler Sheldon Cot🍃trell, in a rece🐬nt tweet, took a subtle dig at Indian pacer Mohammed Shami, regarding his version of the salute.
Cottrell also tagged New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesha🅺m in his tweet, to teach Shami the proper way to♎ ‘salute’ after dismissing batsmen from the opposition.
The Wes♓t Indies bowler is known for his trademark post-wicket celebration, where he marches 💃and salutes in an epic manner.
In the World Cup fixture between India and West Indies in the O🌳DI World Cup of 2019, Shami returned the favor to Cottrell after he was dismissed, by mocking the West Indian with a salute.
“So it’s a win for @lionsdenkxip no matter what @JimmyNeesh, but what we have to work on really is your salute @MdShami11,” tweeted Cottrell.

In the recently concluded warm-up match between India and New Zealand XI, Shami cleaned up Neesham with an incoming delivery. Neesham lost his stumps to a peach of a delivery𒊎 from Shami.
However, the camaraderie between the Kings XI Punjab players is pretty evident as captain KL Rahul recently engaged in a game of ‘rock, papers, scissors’ in between one of the matches.
Kings XI Punjab made wholesale changes to their roster this season with the likes of Cottrell, Neesham and Krishnappa Gowtham ✨replacing Aaron Finch, Andrew Tye, and David Miller.
