The Proteas captain, Quinton de Kock, etched his name in record books after he smashed the fastest half-centu⭕ry in T20Is for South Africa. His outstanding knock came against England in the second T20I at Kingsmead in Durban on 𓆏Friday.
De Kock leapfrogged former South African skipper AB de Villiers who had scored a 21-ball fifty against the same o🔜pposition in Johannesburg in 2016.
Overall, it’s the joint sixth-fastest fifty in the list, which is headed by Yuvraj Singh, who had scored a 12-ball 50 against England in the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup. Mirza Ahsan of Austria, who had scored a fifty in just 13 balls against Luxembourg in 2019, sits second on the list, followed by Colin Munro of New Zealand (14), Faisal Khan of Saudi Arabia (15) and Shai Hope of West Indies (16).
