The battle of white-ball cricket has ended between India and New Zealand after the completion of the T20I and One-Day International (ODI) series. However, the fun battle between Indian batsman KL Rahul and Kiwi all-rounder Jimmy Neesham continues as the former has responded to Neesham’s “Papers, Scissors, Rock” challenge on Wednesday.
Neesham had tweeted a picture of himself with Rahul after the end of the third ODI in Mount Maunganui. In his tweet, the Black Caps player challenged the Indian wicket-keeper for a game of ‘rock, paper, scissors.’
Rahul, who is currently playing the role of a finisher and will captain Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the upcoming edition of th♔e Indian Premier League (IPL), accepted the challenge thrown by hꩲis KXIP teammate Neesham.

During the 2020 IPL auctions, Neesham was roped in by KXIP for INR 50 lakh. Rahul wilꦓl be leading the Mohali-based franchise after Ravichandran Ashwin was traded to Delhi Capitals.
In the third ODI at Bay Oval, Rahul slammed his career’s fourth ton and took his team to 296-7. In reply, New Zealand chased down the total🅺, thanks to Henry Nicholls (80) and Colin de Grandhomme (58), and won the contest by 5-wickets.
