New Zealand will have their familiaꦰr pace trio in the upcoming two-match Test series against India, alon༺g with rising star Kyle Jamieson.

Left-arm seamer Trent Boult has recovered from the injury he sustained in his right hand during the Boxing Day Test at the MCG and, therefore, has been included in the 13-man squad, with the opening Test starting at the Basin Reserve💟 in Well🐷ington on Friday (February 21).

Followi♎ng his impressive debut in the ODI series against India, Jamieson has been picked in the Test squad for the first time, after being called across to Australia mid-tour in December to replace the injured Lockie Ferguson.

Al꧋so, left-arm spinner Ajaz Patel has made his return into th♓e 13-man squad.

“With a squad of 13, we’ve put a priority on balance and making sure we have the needed variety and different options depending on the pitch conditions at the Basin Reserve,” coach Gary Stead was quoted saying in nzc.nz.

“It’s terrific to have Trent back with us, and we’re looking forward to the energy and experience he adds to the group alongside his obvious class with the ball in hand,” Stead added.

Former skipper Ross Taylor is set to become the fourth Kiwi player to play 100 Tests, joining his former te🃏ammates Brendon McCullum, Daniel Vettori, and Stephen Fleming.

St🦹ead ha🐟iled the upcoming achievement for Rosco as well.

“To play 100 Tests for your country is an incredible achievement and a testament to his work ethic and complete professionalism.”
