After a gruelling season, the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019-2020 edition reaches its final frontier. It’s t🅰he hosts Sydney Sixers which will host the Melbourne Stars i🎉n the finals to decide the champions of the season this year at the SCG.
Yet again, the onus will be on Steve Smith who lookꦅed at home in his magenta jersey, donning it after years, taking his team through to the finals with his crucial knock of 66 off 40 balls against the Melbourne Renegades.
Marcus Stoinis, who had his breakthrough season this BBL, amassed 695 runs, yet again will hold the key for the Melbourne Stars. The bowler to look out for within their camp should be none other than Pakistani pace sensation of the se🍬ason Haris Rauf, dazzling with 20 wickets to his name.
However, the Stars should look to play out Jackson Bird carefully during the🅺 powerplay phase as the pacer has clinched the most number of wickets during the first six overs.
In case of rain, the match will be curtailed to 5-over per side event. Additionally, in the event of a washout, the Sixers’ will be handed the trophy. The last time the Sixers’ reached the finals, they went on to win the tournament, during the inaugural season back in 2011 season.
The Sixers’ fin🐎ished second in the groupꦐ behind the Stars’ who were the runner’s up of last year and topped the group this season. They are still looking for their maiden BBL trophy.
