Fast bowlers are often given cool names in cricket, which justify their fierce bowling. From Shoaib Akhtar to B൲rett Lee, bowlers from different teams have dominated with their scary pace.
In the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL), there is another bowler naming Lance Morris, who is breaking the charts with his extreme speed in the exciting leagu✤e.
Lance has been named “Wild Thing” for his super-fast bowling. The 21-year-old bowler exhibited his ultimate pace in the 30th match between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars.
During the fourth over of the Renegades innings, Lance bowled a good length delivery at the off-stump, which was slammed by Shaun Marsh. However, it did more damage to Marsh’s bat.
The impact of Lance’s ball was so hard that Marsh’s bat got split into two parts. Marsh was seen raising his broken bat to indicate what exactly happened.
The 🎃official Twitter handle of BBL poste꧑d a video of the incident.
“Lance’ Wild Thing’ Morris has his first Big Bash victim… Shaun Marsh’s bat!! #BBL09,” tweeted BBL.
