England’s Liam Livingstone has been amazing as an opener for the Perth Scorchers, scoring 184 runs in seven BBL games just behind skipper Mitchell Marsh’s 214 run tally.
Livingstone’s highest score has been 69 and he made his runs at an impressive strike rate of 165.76. He also scored 59 runs off 39 balls against Melbourne Renegades as the Scorchers chased down the 175-run target set by the defending champions quite easily.
However, during the clash against Renegades, Livingstone had to face a rare misfortune, when the third ball of the fourth ov🐲er bowled by Richard Gleeson, hit in his soft area and the Lancashire cricketer 🔥winced in pain, with the bowler giving him a smile.
Later when Livingstone was interviewed by Erin Holland on the sidelines, the TV presenter asked, “How are the crown jewels feeling?” to this Livingstone could only reply, “They are alright now. I wouldn’t advise getting hit in the same place twice.”
Here is the video:
. asks Liam Livingstone the question we're all wondering…
How are the crown jewels going? 😂
