In the 29th match of the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL), Brisbane Heat’s fast bowler Ben Laughlin took a ‘Superman-Esque’ return catch to dismiss Hobart Hurricanes’ right-handed batsman Clive Rose.
After winning the toss and opting baඣtting first, the Hurricanes lost early wickets and never really got going after that. Captaiꦜn Matthew Wade (62) held one end up coming to open the innings while wickets kept falling at the other end.
Meanwhile, Laughlin’s flying effort came in the 17th over. The 37-year-old pacer bowled a slower ball, which Rose couldn’t time properly. The ball was in the air only for a brief moment, but it was enough for Laughlin to leap onto it.

Later, Heat came in to bat and completed the run-chase in 18.2 overs with five wickets in hand. Ben Cutting played a cameo wherein he smashed a quickfire꧂ 43 off 29 balls to bail his side out of trouble after they were reduced to 71-5 in the first ten o🐼vers.
