India defeated Sri Lanka by 78 runs in the third and final T20I at the MCA Stadium in Pune, to clinch the three-match series 2-🐲0.
Navdeep Saini claimed 🥂three wickets while Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur picked up two wickets apiece to bundle out Sri Lanka for just 123 in 15.5 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah, who picked up a wicket in the first over, became the leading wicket-taker in the shortest format for India, going paౠst Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Earlier, India posted a mammoth total of 201 for six after Shikhar Dhawan, and KL Rahul laid the foundation with a 97-run opening partnership. Late flourishღ Manish Pandey (31 off 19) and Shardul (22 off 8) helped India to a mammoth total on a batting-friendly surface.
